  • What is Town Hall of Denver Lectures?

    We are a public-facing education organization offering lectures, series, seminars, and special events in topics such as art, history, literature, and business. Founded in 1954, we aim to connect expert speakers with the public to advance learning and civic conversation.

  • Where and when are your events held?

    Most events take place at our Education Center located at 4500 E Hampden Ave, Cherry Hills Village, CO 80113. Event dates and times vary by program—check our events calendar for specific listings.

  • How do I purchase tickets?

    An annual brochure of lectures and dates is issued every year,  via regular mail and the internet.  You can sign up for the season or individual lectures. The season rate includes a very reasonable discount.

Tickets, Registration, and Membership

  • What are your ticket prices and are discounts available?

    The season ticket price is discounted. We also offer group rates for those bringing a nice group of colleagues and friends to a lecture or the series.

  • Can I suggest a speaker or topic?

  • Can I get a refund or exchange my ticket?

    We welcome general inquiries, ticketing, or accessibility requests via email above or phone number. 

  • How do I become a member?

    Membership information is available through our Development Office. Members receive priority registration, discounts, and invitations to members-only events. Call (303) 698-0230 to join.

Accessibility and Special Needs

Is your venue accessible?

Yes. The Education Center is ADA-compliant with accessible seating and restrooms. If you require special accommodations such as assisted listening devices or large-print materials, please contact us at least 48 hours before the event.

Do you provide captioning or sign language interpretation?

Captioning is available for many of our hybrid and recorded events, and we arrange interpretation for select programs when requested in advance. Contact the box office to request interpretation services.

Event Formats and Content

Are events recorded or available online?

Some events are recorded and made available to registrants or members. For live-streamed events, registrants receive a link. Recordings are posted when permissions from speakers allow and when production resources are available.

Do you host events for children or youth?

While many events are designed for adult learners, we partner with schools and youth organizations to produce age-appropriate programming and student sessions. Contact our education outreach team to arrange youth-focused events.

Speaker and Programming Questions

How can I suggest a speaker or topic?

Community members may suggest speakers or topics via phone at (303) 698-0230 or by submitting a proposal to our programming staff. We review suggestions against our editorial priorities and available scheduling.

How do you select speakers?

Selection is guided by relevance, expertise, clarity of communication, and audience interest. The programming team and advisory board curate a balanced season of local and national voices.

Partnerships, Sponsorships, and Rentals

How can my organization sponsor a lecture?

Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels and can include underwriting a series, supporting student access, or co-branded programming. Contact our partnerships manager for sponsorship packages at (303) 698-0230.

Safety and Venue Policies

  • What is your policy on weather-related cancellations?

    If severe weather impacts event safety, we will notify registrants via phone and email and post updates online. We will provide instructions for refunds or rescheduling according to the event’s policy.

  • Are there COVID-19 related policies in place?

    Our health and safety guidelines follow current local public health recommendations. Masking, vaccination, and testing policies may change based on guidance; we will post up-to-date policies on event pages and inform registrants via email.

Educational Outreach and Schools

  • Do you offer resources for teachers?

    Yes. For many events, we produce pre-lecture teacher guides, student reading lists, and classroom activities. Contact our education coordinator to request teacher materials and student pricing.

  • How can a school bring a student group to an event?

    Schools can contact our box office to arrange group tickets and seating. We encourage early booking for school groups and offer educator discounts when available.

Volunteering, Internships, and Careers

  • How do I volunteer?
